Sterling Engineering is looking for a Licensed Surveyor to support telecom-related survey projects and lead survey operations. This role offers a mix of field and office work, with flexibility to work remotely or hybrid.

Job Duties:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of telecom-related survey services
  • Oversee field operations, project coordination, and survey workflows from start to finish
  • Perform QA/QC and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Review and seal plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and related documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD teams
  • Manage team workloads, mentor staff, and support department growth
  • Implement new technologies and improve survey processes
  • Conduct fieldwork as needed, including travel and occasional overnight stays
Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and provide hands-on support to a large engineering team across multiple states in the Midwest
