As an Account Executive, you will spearhead Sterling's continued growth throughout the Carolinas. WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY?
As an Account Executive you are an integral part of our business development team. You will be identifying potential opportunities and developing client relationships through research, referrals, networking, and cold calling. This position will initiate contacts with prospective clients by connecting with key stakeholders within organizations and presenting Sterling as a recruitment and staffing partner. This role reports to the Division Manager. 
  1. Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for North and South Carolina, with an emphasis on manufacturing and related technical industries
  2. Identify, initiate, and secure new client accounts through targeted prospecting, referrals, networking, association involvement, and cold outreach
  3. Build relationships with plant leaders, engineering leaders, human resources professionals, talent acquisition teams, operations executives, and other key decision-makers
  4. Create and manage prospect lists, account plans, sales campaigns, and consistent multi-touch outreach designed to generate meetings and new staffing opportunities
  5. Represent Sterling at manufacturing association meetings, industry events, conferences, networking programs, and community business functions throughout the Carolinas
  6. Conduct client meetings, facility visits, presentations, and discovery conversations to understand workforce challenges and position Sterling's staffing and recruiting solutions
  7. Maintain consistent prospecting activity and meet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPIs) for calls, meetings, new opportunities, agreements, and revenue growth
  8. Use industry and market intelligence, sales tools, social media, company databases, and internal resources to identify emerging client and revenue opportunities
  9. Negotiate mutually beneficial staffing agreements, service terms, and partnership programs
  10. Conduct job intake meetings for new clients and roles in partnership with Sterling's recruiting team
  11. Collaborate closely with recruiters and internal leaders to communicate client requirements, prioritize searches, and deliver a strong client experience
  12. Present qualified candidates, drive timely client feedback, and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process
  13. Grow relationships through ongoing account management, referrals, client visits, business reviews, and awareness of Sterling's broader service capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Prior sales or account development experience within the staffing and recruiting industry is required
  2. Experience selling staffing or recruiting services to manufacturers or other technical and industrial organizations is strongly preferred
  3. Demonstrated success opening new accounts, building a territory, and creating business through proactive prospecting
  4. Existing relationships or familiarity with the North Carolina and/or South Carolina business and manufacturing community is preferred
  5. Willingness to actively participate in manufacturing associations, networking groups, conferences, and regional business events
  6. Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, closing, and negotiation skills
  7. Energy, competitiveness, persistence, accountability, and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  8. Ability to understand technical positions, manufacturing environments, and client workforce requirements
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate sales activity, and travel throughout the Carolinas as needed

Overview:
A company is seeking a Civil - Staff Engineering Technician to join the Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) group within the Government & Communities Market Sector. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams supporting Water and Industrial Water infrastructure design projects. You will be responsible for creating and modifying site development plans, including grading, drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities, using industry-standard design tools to support critical infrastructure projects.

Job Duties:
  • Develop, modify, and maintain technical drawings, base maps, site plans, and project documentation using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.  
  • Create site development designs focusing on grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities.
  • Perform design calculations, detailed material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and project records.  
  • Review design inputs to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and the BV Quality Program.  
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design personnel to exchange project information, define work assignments, and maintain project schedules.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Service Technician with hands-on experience supporting Power Distribution Unit (PDU) systems in data center environments. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment that supports critical server infrastructure.
This is a regional, field-based position supporting multiple data centers within a defined geographic area. The ideal candidate understands the urgency, protocols, and operational nuances of data center environments and is comfortable working independently in high-priority situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PDU systems and associated low- to medium-voltage electrical equipment
  • Respond to critical service calls in an on-call capacity, ensuring rapid resolution of power-related issues

Position Summary
Our client is seeking an Aerospace Test Engineer to support qualification testing for military aircraft door-drive and electromechanical actuation systems.
Working under a Senior Test Engineer, this individual will support a high-volume program involving approximately 700 part numbers. Designs are complete and moving through procurement, so the immediate focus will be updating test documentation, obtaining quotations, coordinating outside laboratory testing, and supporting qualification-test readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Create, review, and update qualification test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Ensure testing complies with customer requirements, DO-160, and MIL-STD-810.
  • Support test-readiness reviews and qualification-testing activities.
  • Develop statements of work and obtain quotations for external testing services.
  • Coordinate testing requirements, documentation, and schedules with outside environmental and EMI laboratories.
  • Review supplier proposals and track testing activities across a high volume of parts.
  • Prepare qualification-test reports and test-failure resolution documentation.
  • Maintain detailed testing schedules in coordination with Engineering and Program Management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, test technicians, Supply Chain, suppliers, laboratories, and customers.
  • Support testing of mechanical and electromechanical aerospace actuation systems.
  • Travel to outside test facilities as needed to supervise qualification testing.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Aerospace testing or qualification experience.
  • Experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-810 testing standards.
  • Experience preparing test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Experience supporting test-readiness reviews and qualification testing.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into test documentation.

Assignment Details
The selected engineer should be available to begin as soon as possible. Initial qualification testing is expected to begin between October and December. Travel is typically up to 10% but may increase during peak testing periods.
