Certified Welding Inspector
Job Description
Salary: $80,000 to $85,000
- Perform qualification testing for manual welders and robotic welders (cobots).
- Review potential quote packages with the estimating department.
- Oversee customer audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in assessing manual welders during interviews.
- Maintain updated welding records for each employee, documenting their capabilities.
- Revamp and implement a robotic training program for individuals with no prior experience in robotic welding.
- Ensure timely and organized responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and robotic welding processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the estimating department and other teams.
- Excellent communication skills and timely response to inquiries.
- Experience in training and assessing welders.
