Job Description

Title: Welder
Location: Alexandria, LA -Relocation assistance is available
Hire Type: Direct Hire, 1st shift (Monday-Friday)
Salary: $75k-$90k
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure operate and maintain robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welds.
  • Perform MIG and Subarc welding tasks as required by project specifications.
  • Program, adjust, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to execute precise welds.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production team members to develop and improve welding processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience, focusing on MIG and Subarc welding techniques.
  • Previous experience with robotic welding systems or welding on vision systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices in a welding environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in welding or a related field.
  • Experience with programming and troubleshooting robotic welding systems.
  • Familiarity with various welding codes and standards.
