Warehouse Clerk
Job Description
Hire Type: Contract
Salary: $20-$24/hr.
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and ensure materials are received into inventory the same day.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pick, pack, label, and stage materials for production and customer orders.
- Complete inventory transactions using the company ERP system.
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor purchase order due dates and assist with expediting material deliveries.
- Coordinate shipments and schedule freight and courier pickups.
- Partner with the Quality team to verify material certifications before releasing materials to production.
- Maintain stock levels for consumables and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of customer-owned and company inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform additional warehouse and inventory duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory transactions and ERP systems is a plus.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
