Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour (plus overtime)
We're hiring a Vision Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL, for a Contract to Hire role. Competitive pay of $45-$50 per hour, including overtime.
Program vision systems for cam, servo, and air-operated stations, ensuring functionality, robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
Incorporate standards and regulatory requirements with good judgment.
Research and specify purchased and preferred components.
Participate in design reviews, installations, and service calls.
Guide Electricians in wiring and codes, and support software validation.
Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering and Build teams.
Full compliance with the work-from-home policy.
Contribute to internal and international standards.
Support Quality Management Program.
Provide documentation for machinery Operating Manuals.
Keep abreast of current product developments.
Travel may be required.
Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of vision automation experience or recent graduate.
Primary: Proficiency with Cognex Insight and Cortex vision systems.
Secondary: Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s, Servo control, and Electrical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, Excel, Word, databases, etc.
