Job Description

Sterling Engineering has partnered with a growing manufacturing firm on bringing in a General Manager to oversee full P&L responsibilities. This person will have a big hand in growing global business and will have a chance to help elevate the company's revenue. The company is an industry leader in motion and fluid control technologies.


Job Overview:


  • Embody P&L ownership for NAS and be accountable for strategic decisions on product strategy, staffing, resource allocation, organizational structure and overall performance.
  • Develop and achieve annual operating plans for sales, expenses, profitability, inventory and return on net assets
  • Develop and execute business strategies with product and market plans to achieve profitable sales growth
  • Provide leadership to meet or exceed customer requirements for quality, cost, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure profit, margins, and ROI are maximized through diligent management of pricing and commercial agreements
  • Champion business initiatives to ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Drive excellence, culture of lean, and world-class best practices across the organization
  • Lead & Guide the selection, development and review of a world-class team across all functional areas within the Business Unit
  • Provide strategic leadership and managing a regional team, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations,
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for direct reports and drive accountability for each


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 12 years working in manufacturing
  • Experience with overseeing full P&L (MUST)
  • Experience in the Industrial Automation Industry
  • Experience working for a global company
