Title: Vertical Bagging Operator
Location:  Bartlett, IL 
Hire Type: Direct Hire 
Shift & Hours:  2nd Shift: 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (or as adjusted based on business needs)  
Pay Rate: $25 - $26/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Vertical Bagging Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining our high-speed vertical bagging equipment to ensure production meets quality and efficiency standards. You will report to the Line Lead, Supervisor, and Manager and work alongside a dedicated team to meet daily production targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Set up, operate, and monitor high-speed vertical fill form seal packaging machines, slicing machines, cup machines, or bagging machines.
  • Perform daily pre-operational maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal function.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed for troubleshooting or maintenance.
  • Inspect and evaluate products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  •  Retrieve and stage raw materials in designated locations to maintain production flow.
  • Load raw materials into machines to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
  • Work collaboratively within a team of 3-6 workers, ensuring effective communication to sustain product flow and assist in other tasks as needed.
  • Perform sanitation duties during and after shifts, including participating in weekly cleaning procedures.
  • Be flexible and willing to work overtime when business needs require it.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned to support production operations.
