Validation Engineer (Automation Equpt)

Contract Duration: 1–2 years
Rate: $60/hr (negotiable for the right candidate) contract to hire
We are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to join our team on a 1–2 year contract. This is a hands-on role working across two sites (Buffalo Grove and Libertyville), focusing on facilities validation within medical device and regulated manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience validating automated equipment, preferably in plastic injection molding.
- Lead facility commissioning activities across multiple sites
- Perform cleanroom validation for Class 6, 7, 8 (Buffalo Grove) and Class 9 (Libertyville) environments
- Execute temperature and humidity (HR) mapping for facilities
- Validate warehouse environments and automated equipment
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards and internal protocols
- Document validation processes, protocols, and reports accurately
- 5+ years of experience in facilities validation (medical device or regulated manufacturing)
- Experience with cleanroom and warehouse validation
- Experience with temperature and HR mapping
- Prior experience validating automated equipment; experience with plastic injection molding is a plus
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently without hand-holding
- Work authorization: Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Available to start ASAP and commit for the duration of the contract
