Job Summary:
- As a Sr. Principal Transmission Line Engineer, you'll be instrumental in bringing high-voltage transmission line projects to life. Your expertise will be essential in routing, designing, and executing complex projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV.
- Job Duties:
- Technical Analysis: Conduct in-depth structural analysis, loading tree assessments, and wire sag/tension calculations to ensure optimal design.
- Design Leadership: Develop comprehensive design criteria and specifications, guiding the team towards innovative and efficient solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control reviews to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence.
- Client Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring project alignment and success.
- Qualifications:
- Academic Excellence: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered as an active member with APEGA or eligibility for registration
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line routing and design.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Power Line Systems software (PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE) for designing 69kV to 500kV overhead lines.
- Foundation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of drilled pier foundation design.
