Tooling Technician
Job Description
Location: Peachtree City, GA
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $40-43/hr.

- Manage mould preventive maintenance (PM) schedule and track On-Time Completion %
- Audit and track spare parts inventory, ordering as needed
- Disassemble, reassemble, and PM Hot Runner, valve gate, and mould systems
- Diagnose and repair heating issues in Hot Runner systems
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams for Hot Runner systems
- Identify and resolve mould defects and determine if defects are process-related
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair valve gate, hot runner, and controller issues
- Work with vendors on mould refurbishments, upgrades, and repairs
- Determine process parameters for new or modified moulds
- Identify and understand injection moulding machine and part components
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-10+ years of injection tooling experience
- Strong understanding of technical documents and quality control procedures
- Basic computer skills and good organizational abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and apply mathematical concepts
