Test Technician
Job Description
- Set up and calibrate sensors and instrumentation to collect test data
- Support the development and execution of test plans
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Document test procedures, results, and related project materials
- Manage multiple testing initiatives and meet cost/time targets
- Maintain and support test stands and equipment
- Pursuing an A.S. degree in Engineering Technology (electronic or mechanical) or Physics
- Experience with load, torque, and temperature sensors and instrumentation
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience writing test procedures and reports
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must wear safety shoes and protective eyewear
- Familiarity with LabVIEW equipment and software
- Knowledge of AC and DC motor design and operation
- Hands-on experience with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Understanding of gearing, bearings, and power transmission systems
