Job Summary: 

General: Repairs PC boards, following schematics, departmental test procedures, and standard electronics skills, returning all boards to original specifications, using hand tools and test instruments: Converses with other technicians, supervisors, or test department personnel, when necessary. Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction. Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment as necessary. Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts, using hand tools and soldering iron. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications. Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Maintain proper repair records. 

Qualification Requirements: 

1 year of experience in board repair is preferred.
