Test Technician
Job Description
Location: Brookfield, WI
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $55k-$60k/yr.

- Perform subassembly inspection, unit testing and inspection, fixture testing, and circuit board repair.
- Troubleshoot to the component level with equipment being tested.
- Decide on allowable variations, determine cause and effect of malfunctions or defects.
- Solve inspection problems encountered in process inspection and test.
- Work with high voltages and currents.
- Provide customer troubleshooting over the telephone.
- Perform occasional off-site service calls.
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
- Comply with all safety regulations.
- Associate’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in electronics and electrical/mechanical functions; up to three years to become fully proficient with products, inspection, and test principles.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, bills of material, and specifications.
- Strong blueprint interpretation and mathematical skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Computer literate.
