Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
- Perform break/fix troubleshooting on automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair issues involving:
- Motors, drives, sensors, wiring, relays, and control components
- Mechanical assemblies, conveyors, and production equipment
- Support continuous operation of an automated inverter production line
- Work closely with supervisors and engineering teams to minimize downtime
- Follow safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Accurately document maintenance activities and repairs
- Strong electrical OR mechanical maintenance background
- Electrical skillsets are strongly preferred
- Experience with machinery maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and work in a fast-paced production setting
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work weekend shifts
- Strong technical aptitude and desire to grow within the organization
- Experience supporting automated equipment or automation maintenance
- PLC experience (not required, but a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
- Saturday & Sunday + 2 weekdays (open/flexible on which weekdays)
- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 48 hours per week
- 8 hours of scheduled overtime built in
- Additional OT opportunities available at times
- Up to $35/hour, based on experience
