Job Summary: 
Seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to ensure accurate measurements and reliable operation of process instruments in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role focuses on calibrating and maintaining equipment that monitors critical production parameters, including pressure, temperature, flow, pH, and conductivity. Typical instruments include pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, torque sensors, and pH/conductivity probes.

The Calibration Technician will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, as well as external vendors and contractors, to maintain process consistency, quality compliance, and regulatory standards.

Job Duties:
  • Calibrate and verify process instruments used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including pressure, flow, temperature, pH, conductivity, and torque measurement devices.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance of real-time process instrumentation on production lines.
  • Document calibration results, measurement uncertainty, and traceability to standards (e.g., NIST).
  • Identify measurement errors and ensure instruments meet accuracy requirements.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers regarding instrument use and compliance.
  • Maintain adherence to quality systems and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of hands-on calibration or metrology experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of measurement principles, uncertainty analysis, and industry standards (ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1).
  • Ability to read technical schematics, specifications, and calibration procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
