We are seeking an Air Compressor Service Technician to provide service and support for all types of air compressors and related compressed air products. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, performance evaluation, and proper installation of air compressors, dryers, and accessories. The Service Technician will work directly with customers to deliver timely, efficient, and courteous technical solutions to mechanical and electrical issues.
- Provide on-site technical support, repairs, and preventative maintenance for customer equipment
- Inspect and service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment to ensure proper operation
- Explain system capabilities, operations, features, and benefits to customers
- Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, service orders, contracts, and company forms
- Understand customer needs, answer questions, and recommend corrective actions
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing excellent customer service
- Build trust quickly and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- 3–5 years of experience with rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, controls, and air dryers; experience with centrifugal air compressors a plus
- Mechanical and electrical skills required to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Ability to work on-call 24/7 with rotating weekend shifts
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
