Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Hanover Park, IL
Hire Type: Contract-To-Hire (We provide benefits while on contract)
Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift
Base Salary: $18-$20/hr

About the Opportunity:
Our client specializes in high-tolerance components for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and hydraulics. The Secondary Inspector ensures that these components meet stringent quality standards before reaching customers. This role is vital in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence in manufacturing.

Job Duties:
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision-machined parts
  • Utilize measurement tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), micrometers, and calipers
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Document inspection results accurately for quality assurance and traceability
  • Collaborate with quality and production teams to address and resolve quality issues
Qualifications:
  • Experience in precision manufacturing or quality inspection roles
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication skills for documentation and team collaboration
