Maintenance Technician 1st or 2nd Shift
Job Description
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $30–$40/hr.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics (including low voltage and up to 480V 3-phase)
- Understand and work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Use manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources to research and solve machine issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems independently
- Maintain and repair CNC equipment and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Use electrical testing devices and programming tools for diagnostics and repairs
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory to reduce downtime
- Record maintenance activity in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Follow Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and ensure safety compliance
- Minimum 5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V, 3-phase
- Proficient in interpreting technical schematics and documentation
- Experience with CNC equipment, PLC troubleshooting, and repair
- Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance tracking
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to LOTO standards
