We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance team in a high-speed production manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of complex equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting control systems, servo drives, and motors. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems and is motivated to support production goals through proactive maintenance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and modify complex manufacturing equipment with an emphasis on high-speed packaging lines.
- Troubleshoot and repair control systems, servo drives, motors, pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, and process instrumentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Support and coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and leadership.
- Provide training and guidance to equipment operators and junior maintenance staff.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA, FDA, EPA, and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for process and maintenance improvements and drive solutions to completion.
- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, technical certification, or High School Diploma/GED with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience troubleshooting:
- Pneumatic control systems
- Allen Bradley PLC systems & RSLinx
- Process control instrumentation
- 3-phase (480V) circuits
- Motor starters and controls
- Electronic circuit boards
- At least 2 years’ experience working with automated packaging equipment.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley software platforms strongly preferred.
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to walk extensively in a large facility (up to 400,000 sq. ft.).
