Job Description
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (with frequent overtime, averaging 50+ hours per week)
- Assemble sheet metal parts and components to build switchgear cabinets and enclosures according to specifications.
- Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools (such as drills, impacts, screwdrivers, and grinders) to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform basic wiring and connection of low-voltage components as required.
- Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and alignment with drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in hands-on shadow training to learn new assembly techniques.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of experience in assembly, light manufacturing, or related mechanical work.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and measurements
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
