Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in both facility infrastructure and production equipment.
- Work with and troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial wiring, including conduit work.
- Perform general building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry as needed.
- Assist in mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks when required.
- Assist in implementing control systems and building custom automation/robotic systems.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including user manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and supervisors to execute projects and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following company safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in facility maintenance including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
- Proficient in working with conduit and wiring; knowledge of NEC codes preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with basic PLC programming, troubleshooting, and HMI interfaces is a plus.
