Sterling Engineering is seeking a Service Technician to support continued expansion and a great client of ours in Cleveland, OH. This role is responsible for servicing and supporting air compressors and related compressed air systems while delivering high-quality customer service. The Service Technician works directly with customers to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform maintenance, and provide effective technical solutions in the field.

Job Duties:
  • Provide on-site technical support and repair of customer equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on air compressors and related products
  • Inspect and service air compressors, dryers, and compressed air accessories
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system failures
  • Explain system capabilities, operations, features, and benefits to customers
  • Recommend corrective actions to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Complete all required paperwork, including work orders, service orders, and customer documentation
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company policies
  • Work safely to prevent injuries, property damage, and maintain clean job sites
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and stooping
