Process Technician- Blow Mold (3rd Shift)
Job Description
Shift: 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $68k-$70k/yr.
- Set up and operate injection and blow molding machines, molds, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure machines are running safely and producing parts to quality and productivity standards.
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding process issues.
- Coordinate with labor leads to ensure full machine and labor utilization.
- Recommend improvements to equipment and production methods.
- Report malfunctions and support minor maintenance/setup functions.
- Train and guide material handlers as needed.
- Stay current on process technology and in-house systems.
- Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and all company safety policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in pneumatics, hydraulics, or plastics a plus.
- Must have blow molding experience; injection molding experience is a bonus.
- Ideally 5+ years of experience; 3+ years at a single company with solid experience will be considered.
- Understanding of standard process control, startup/shutdown procedures, and mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with grinders, chillers, scales, dryers, and other related tools.
- Ability to read manuals, follow instructions, and write basic reports.
- Comfortable with measurements and performing basic math functions.
