Technical Recruiter
Job Description
- Manage a high-volume requisition load for engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, and technical positions.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct phone screens and technical qualification interviews to evaluate candidate experience and fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive technical talent.
- Drive recruiting efforts to meet aggressive hiring goals and workforce ramp-ups.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the ATS and CRM.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
- Serve as a primary recruiting contact for assigned client locations, providing onsite support as needed.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor attendance trends, employee engagement, and retention during onboarding periods.
- Conduct regular onsite visits to build relationships with employees and client leadership.
- Assist with resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Provide recruiting metrics, hiring updates, and workforce reporting to internal leadership and clients.
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within staffing or agency recruiting.
- Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, or other technical positions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing skills using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and networking.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.(Avionté, Workday, Kronos, or similar)
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while balancing remote recruiting with onsite client support.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize competing hiring needs and deliver results.
