System Engineer:
I am seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience to support the continued growth, development, and security of my client's information technology systems by installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and systems management tools.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related quantitative field
· 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer
· 5+ years of experience with FortiGate, HP networks, EMC Unity, PowerShell, Microsoft SQL
· Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification
Duties and Deliverables:
· Develop and install new systems, including servers, networking, software, storage, etc.
· Work with IT Manager to ensure that company systems can help fulfill wider business goals.
· Monitor, maintain, and improve Information Security controls to help defend and protect the IT environment.
· Monitor, test, and run diagnostics on IT systems to identify potential problems and work to resolve issues.
· Create and maintain strict process documentation to ensure single failure points are minimized.
· Coach IT staff to work within the systems to resolve issues on their own.
· Participate in appropriate professional networking and educational opportunities
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
· Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
· Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
· Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
