Title: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Chilhowie, VA
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary:$125k/yr. + 15% bonuse

This Supply Chain Manager role is responsible for leading all aspects of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics. You will drive performance, optimize processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
Job Duties:
- Oversee scheduling, planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and shipping/receiving functions.
- Ensure timely supply of raw materials and delivery of finished goods to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Manage supply chain team performance to achieve On-Time Complete (OTC) metrics.
- Develop and maintain purchasing systems to drive cost savings and value.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (Kanban, 5S, pull systems, etc.).
- Monitor and communicate supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
- Drive cost reduction, process improvements, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Oversee food safety compliance within supply chain operations.
- Support and develop team members to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or materials management.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- APICS certification and Lean experience preferred.
- Strong ERP system experience.
