Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Description:
We're seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Crystal Lake, IL to drive our outsourced supplier strategy. Collaborate with the sourcing team, deploy and measure strategy monthly, and share results with the team.
Responsibilities:
Support purchasing in certifying suppliers and contractors for outsourced products and services.
Develop and maintain processes, including supplier scorecards, agreements, financial reviews, and response to SCARs.
Review and validate all supplier PPAPs, ensuring compliance domestically and internationally.
Provide technical direction to subcontractors and assist in service supplier certification.
Facilitate internal and external teams in developing APQP, integrating into our systems.
Maintain communication with internal departments, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Assist in contract reviews and manage supplier chargebacks.
Research and develop alternate sources for critical components.
Fully support ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the WAY program.
Miscellaneous responsibilities include diversity spend, monitoring supplier backlog, and annual supplier financial review.
Bachelor's degree in a technical/business field or equivalent experience.
Confidence in comparing engineering drawings, primarily in steel fabrication.
Objectivity, professionalism, integrity, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project and program management skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (WORD, EXCEL).
Prior welding inspection experience and CAD knowledge are pluses.
Approximately 20% travel, both domestic and international, required.
