Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Description
- Drive quality improvement efforts internally and externally.
- Process non-conformance and supplier corrective action reports.
- Lead PPAP efforts internally and with suppliers.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering to establish Quality Plans.
- Manage supplier quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct ISO 9001 audits at suppliers and oversee corrective actions.
- Provide supplier quality training and optimize process capability.
- Proactively address ongoing quality/performance issues.
- Review and approve supplier PPAPs to organizational standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, quality, or supply quality engineering.
- Experience with electronics assembly, electrical equipment, or semiconductor manufacturing industries.
- Experience with quality control methods (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, etc.)
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies (root cause analysis, 8D, etc.).
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949).
- Prior certifications (ASQ, Six Sigma Black Belt)
