Structural Engineer
Job Description
- Design and analyze steel structures, including beams, columns, and trusses.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and 3D models using CAD software.
- Select appropriate materials and configurations based on project requirements.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis to ensure compliance with design codes
- Conduct stability and fatigue analysis to ensure long-term durability and safety.
- Work with the Project Manager to define design parameters, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate schedules and resources to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Attend project meetings to provide technical input and resolve design-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- At least one year of engineering project experience involving steel structures
