Job Summary:
  • As a key member of our operations team, the Senior Safety Manager will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive safety programs. This role is critical in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, driving a culture of safety excellence, and minimizing risk.

Job Duties:
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, implement control measures, and investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences.
  • Deliver impactful safety training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety awareness and ownership.
  • Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and ensure compliance through proactive measures and timely audits.
  • Develop and execute robust emergency response plans, including evacuation drills and crisis management procedures.
  • Mentor and develop the safety team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, prioritize efforts, and measure the effectiveness of safety initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative safety solutions and leveraging industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
