Overview:

Sterling Engineering is a Chicagoland based recruiting firm that specializes in the placing of top talent. We have partnered with a $1.5 billion electronics manufacturing company on hiring a Sr. Product Engineer to join their team. This person will be dealing in the Gas Valves sector. 

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Interfaces with sales, marketing, and management to establish specific goals in support of company business, for both new product development
  • Supports completion of programs, e.g. technical studies, preparation of specifications and technical plans, product design, and testing, etc.
  • Ensures product conformance to sound engineering principles and practice, applicable industry, government, and customer requirements and related specifications; demonstrates same by detailed analysis and/or test as required.
Education & Experience
 
  • BS, Mechanical Engineering 
  • 5+ years of experience specific to gas valves
  • CAD experience 
  • Full understanding of gas ignition, combustion, and combustion systems
