Job Description
KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Promote Safety First in all Molding areas, equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Support Quote Manager (Cost and NRE Input for all Tooling Related Quotes).
• Tooling (Mold) Design Support.
• Tooling Vendor Support.
• Mold Equipment Vendor Support.
• Support and oversee Molding Process Development, Validation, and Optimization.
• Support Molding Related Cost Improvement Projects (CIP).
• Resource for Molding Process Transfers to other facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four-year degree in a technical field (or equivalent) preferred.
• Ten years of molding experience in the Medical Device Industry preferred.
• Master Molder 1 Certification preferred.
• Excellent written communication and computer skills.
• Sound understanding of molding process validation and associated theory / tools.
• Sound understanding mold tooling Design for Manufacture (DFM).
