Job Summary:
- Looking for someone with new product development to lead a technical team responsible for the development and maintenance of innovative electronic products.
Job Duties:
- Lead the engineering function for the development and maintenance of all Panduit’s electronic products with a significant focus on network enabled intelligent power offerings
- Work with product management and business development functions across to create market and product requirements / specifications
- Lead a management team to deliver products that have been validated to meet the product requirements both on time and within budget
- Work with the global supply function to implement validated designs into volume manufacturing and assist in management of outsourced designs, components, sub-systems, or products
Qualifications:
- BSEE (MSEE or higher degree preferred) with at least 15 years of electronic system development experience (7+ years of technical team leadership required).
- Electronic hardware (digital, analog, high-speed, power, thermal management, packaging) and software system product development experience. Product development experience must include new product development process (e.g. stage-gate, agile, etc), change management system, reliability test, compliance test (performance, environmental and certification), quality processes and manufacturing test.
- The ability to lead a diverse team of engineers, lab technicians, and other technical talent.
