Location: The role is based out of Hammond, IN. Hybrid Schedule (3-days in office/2 days remote)

- Execute projects in all areas of electrical engineering including conceptual design to installation engineering services, estimating, equipment specification, detailed design, equipment inspection, field installation, and start-ups inclusive of client interaction.
- Perform design calculations for power distribution systems for industrial buildings and structures.
- Work with AC and DC motors as well as the installation and configuration of VFDs.
- Work with Low/Medium voltage parameters. High voltage knowledge an added plus (60kV, 139kV, and 345kV).
- Perform power system evaluations and analysis - Utility distribution and substation work required.
- Develop alternatives to a project that brings value to the client.
- Comply with all applicable standards and industry codes.
- Lead an electrical project team in the planning, scheduling, engineering, and design execution of the projects from start to finish.
- Determine the electrical scope for projects, manage schedules, budgets, maintain changes and effectively communicate changes to the team.
- Interact with the client; attend client meetings and internal team meetings. o Mentor Junior Engineers
- BSEE with a minimum of 10 years’ experience needed in the oil refinery, power plant and/or steel manufacturing industries required. IN/IL PE license is required; PE License in other states is acceptable as well. Master of Engineering an added plus.
- Ability to work in the field.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be detail orientated.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other team members and prepare reports.
