Title: Sr. Drafter

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop plan and detail views in CAD at multiple scales
- Segment large-scale designs into plan sheets; align and annotate match lines
- Interpret utility maps to incorporate existing infrastructure into base designs
- Review DOT and County permit requests to extract drawing requirements and constraints
- Integrate and manage external references (X-refs) for coordinated drawing sets
- Use annotative scaling to ensure consistent text and symbol sizing across views
- Work within Model Space and Paper Space to organize and present drawing content according to
- company and client standards
- Trace existing conditions and develop base maps for proposed gas pipeline and facility designs
- Analyze project scope documents to define drawing extents, limits, and key features
- Apply core CAD commands and workflows to efficiently produce design drawings
- Export and compile CAD drawings into PDF format for submittals and internal reviews
- Extract and interpret right-of-way (ROW) data from GIS sources for accurate base mapping
- Apply roadway stationing to align design elements with linear referencing systems
Required Education & Experience:
- Drafting certification, degree, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional CAD experience in engineering or related industries
- Advanced CAD proficiency, including tools, standards, and workflows

- Able to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
- Good communication skills
