Job Description
Industry: Automation & Valves Solutions
- Size and select valve automation equipment based on application specifications and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support for both in-house and third-party valve and actuator products.
- Act as a customer-facing applications expert, offering technical guidance, resolving issues, and building trust.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop competitive, technically sound proposals.
- Challenge pricing decisions where needed to ensure the solution meets business and customer expectations.
- Present technical quotes and solutions directly to customers, when required.
- Stay informed on product capabilities, industry standards, and competitor offerings.
- Support the commercial team in growing the presence of this emerging business unit within the valve automation space.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field—or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with valve automation, actuators, or related motion control equipment.
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong understanding of automated valve systems and industrial automation practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and challenge commercial assumptions constructively.
- Proficiency in engineering tools used for equipment sizing, selection, and quoting.
