As one of the fastest-growing companies in cold chain logistics, we are expanding our team to support this growth. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team in North America, based in Chicago.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the design and engineering of warehouse development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs.
• Overseeing construction and commissioning from a design perspective to ensure project completion as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Evaluating and improving changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
• Monitoring the engineering process to ensure adherence to quality and Total Cost of Ownership.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Providing input on project outcomes and resolving escalated issues in collaboration with other departments.
• Offering life-cycle engineering support to existing warehouses.
• Proactively sharing knowledge with peers and using your expertise to achieve departmental goals.
• Supporting Business Development initiatives.
• B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of project experience in logistics real estate.
• Experience in coordinating with internal and external engineering teams.
• Based in the Chicago metropolitan area and able to work from our Chicago office.
• Comfortable working in an international and dynamic work environment.
