Sr. Electrical Engineer
Job Description
- Leads projects and project team in the execution of several mid-to-large scale projects
- Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members
- Performs Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents
- Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members
- Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees
- Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED
- Resolves design questions and technical concerns
- Provides excellent client/customer service
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Distribution Design (experience preferred)
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management team
- Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (Preferred)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (Preferred)
- Knowledge of PPL Electric Utilities standards and distribution design practices (Preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment screenings, including drug testing, reference verification, education and employment verification, and background screening
