Title: Set Up Operator
Shift: 3rd (10:30PM- 7AM)
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $28-$30/HR. PLUS $2 shift differential

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Set Up Operator for a manufacturer of plastic components in Des Plaines, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that has great benefits and employee perks.

Job Duties:
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines (17-400 ton).
  • Load and troubleshoot molding cycles.
  • Perform material changes and operate auxiliary equipment (loaders, filters, thermolators, etc.).
  • Optimize machine processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Operate lift trucks and fork trucks.
  • Conduct quality control for assigned shift.
  • Maintain knowledge of plastic materials for proper molding.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow ISO procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Plastics Manufacturing Environment is a plus
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
