Shift: Night Shift, 2/2/3 rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Setter (also called a Set-Up Technician) to join our Buffalo Grove facility. You’ll be responsible for setting up molds and preparing injection molding machines for overnight production runs. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and crucial for keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll be responsible for setting up molds and preparing injection molding machines for overnight production runs. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and crucial for keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and start injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment for production runs
- Load programs and align automated/robotic systems
- Perform visual inspections of product per production specifications
- Troubleshoot small to mid-size machine/process issues, escalating as needed
- Pull, clean, and set molds; perform color changes and material lot changes
- Conduct assembly start-up batches and complete cycle checklists
- Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Level 1 on equipment
- Follow LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) procedures for safety
- Maintain clean, organized workspace and support Lean initiatives
- Assist in process improvements and maintain quality, safety, and ISO standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Stand and walk for 90% of the shift; able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb
- Meet vision requirements for the job
Preferred Skills:
- Basic mechanical skills and PC literacy
- Basic math skills
- Injection molding and/or robotic experience a plus
Work Environment:
- Clean manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Moderate noise levels may be present
