Title: Set Up Operator – Silk Screening / Offset Printing
Location: St. Charles, IL

Shift Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $26–$29/hr (flexible for experienced candidates)

This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining silk screen, offset, and label decorating equipment to ensure high-quality production output. The Set Up Operator plays a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the decorating process while supporting production goals.

Job Duties:

Set up silk screen, offset, and label decorating equipment correctly
Keep equipment running efficiently through production
Ensure machines produce quality parts that meet specifications
Follow all decorating procedures and safety rules
Adjust color as needed on offset equipment
Add inks to screen and offset equipment
Clean screens, offset plates, and blankets
Repair equipment issues and report problems as needed
Complete setup sheets and production boards accurately
Clear lines before starting new work orders
Instruct operators during production runs
Maintain clean equipment and work areas
Run equipment at the highest possible rate without compromising safety or quality
Promote and support a safe working environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience setting up and operating silk screen and/or offset printing equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping practices
