Service Technician
Job Description
Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78409

- Respond to customer requests for service calls and provide on-site technical support.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with pumps, seals, valves, and other industrial equipment.
- Oversee the entire repair process, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly.
- Ensure successful equipment installation and commission on schedule.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams like repair centers, customer service, and sales engineering.
- Maintain accurate and organized service records.
- Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, and seals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents like blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively and work overtime as needed.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and quality.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working around large equipment in various weather conditions.
- Professional certifications in a relevant field.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams.
- High school diploma or GED with some relevant experience (0-2 years).
