Senior Transportation Engineer
Job Description
Location: Itasca, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $85K–$110K

- Participate on project teams for a variety of transportation projects.
- Lead or support planning, design, and reporting activities.
- Provide construction oversight and management on transportation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–15 years of experience in transportation projects such as roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, intersection and traffic signal design, traffic studies, and shared-use paths.
- Knowledge of IDOT standards, Phase I/II design requirements, and MFT requirements preferred.
- Experience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software (e.g., Highway Capacity Software or Synchro) a plus.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred or willingness to obtain.
- P.T.O.E. license or ability to obtain within one year is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
