A leader in custom machinery and automation solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the profitability of machine design/build projects, serving as the primary liaison between the customer and. Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing custom machinery projects, including mechanical design, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, financial budgets, labor charges, parts shortages, and supplier deliveries. You will continually assess and manage these aspects to maintain project budget and delivery schedule integrity. Your role will also involve direct communication with customers and suppliers, negotiation of contract issues, and facilitating corrective actions as necessary.

Education and Experience:
A four-year technical degree (BSME) or equivalent is required.
Five to ten years of direct machine design/build and implementation experience, or other relevant technical degrees (BSEE, BSEET) will be considered.
Two to five years of direct manufacturing engineering and/or machine design, build, and implementation experience is preferred.
Familiarity with welding equipment, packaging equipment, and high-speed assembly equipment is desirable.
Experience with welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, PAW, etc.) and proficiency in SolidWorks/CAD is a plus.
Proven success in managing large projects to meet timelines and schedules is required.

Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, deliverables, and requirements with applications engineering.
Hold regular project review meetings for machine/tooling design and controls/systems design.
Address and resolve issues that impact project timing and scope.
Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering Manager, Controls Engineering Manager, and Manufacturing Manager to ensure resources are effectively assigned and goals are met.
Monitor progress in fabrication/machining processes and assembly related to the project.
Handle customer requests and assess their alignment with the project scope.
