Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex warehouse development projects.
- Manage construction and commissioning processes from a design perspective, ensuring efficient and effective project completion.
- Evaluate and optimize changes that significantly impact project scope, budget, or schedule.
- Monitor engineering processes to maintain adherence to quality standards, Total Cost of Ownership, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and provide input on project outcomes.
- Offer life-cycle engineering support to existing warehouse facilities.
- Foster knowledge-sharing and leverage expertise to achieve departmental goals.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of project experience in logistics real estate.
- Proven ability to coordinate with internal and external engineering teams.
- Based in the Chicago metropolitan area with the ability to work from the Chicago office.
