Senior Product Manager (Manufacturing Products)
Job Description
- Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to discontinuation.
- Develop product strategies based on market and competitive research.
- Analyze competitive landscape including pricing, features, and innovation.
- Define target audiences and create compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute product marketing plans.
- Partner with sales and channel teams to meet annual sales goals.
- Implement pricing strategies across retail and distribution channels.
- Support sales teams with product training and line reviews.
- Ensure timely and profitable product launches.
- Resolve development roadblocks with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Conduct end-user research to identify pain points and inform product development.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate launch execution.
- Bachelors degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Proven success with consumer durable goods and industrial products.
- Experience working with retail channels like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.
- Strong strategic skills including 80/20 analysis and product line simplification.
- Manufacturing or product-driven company background.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
