Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sr. Process Validation Engineer to join our team. You will work with Quality, Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers and other cross-functional teams to react quickly and support the manufacturing and supply chain function. Job Duties:
- PCBA Assembly, Adhesive Assembly, Product Assembly, Injection Molding, LSR, and Compression Molding process development, and Manufacturing Process documentation.
- Preventive Maintenance and Calibration documentation.
- Process equipment FAT, SAT, URS, and Design Specifications
- Draft, route for approval, execute and report IQ/OQ/PPQ/PQ/TMVs
- Support PFMEA development and maintenance
- Support Process Control documentation development and maintenance
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Validation and Mfg. Process experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 3+ years supporting medical device manufacturing from new product development to mass production.
- Experience supporting process validations for Contract Manufacturers and or Suppliers
- Knowledge of multiple manufacturing domains with technical acumen critical to the success of the role (SMT equipment, soldering methods, resins, software verification tools, AOI, X-Ray inspection systems, Injection Molding, LSR, Compression Molding, Electrical Assembly, Multilayer Film Bonding / Assembly process, Packaging / Kitting, UDI, etc.).
- Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD.
- Experience using quality electronic documentation systems (EDMs), Veeva, MasterControl, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office Software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proficient in Using Google Docs, Slack, Smartsheet, and LucidChart.
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and root-cause tools, Minitab experience is a plus.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment with multiple changing priorities.
