Senior Process Technician (Injection Mold)
Job Description
- Lead the Mold Maintenance Team in monitoring performance and identifying training needs.
- Collaborate with various departments to extend the lifespan of mold components and manage the mold repair program.
- Oversee injection mold tooling projects, from design to fabrication and implementation.
- Work in cross-functional teams to address product quality and production issues related to mold and assembly processes.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of CAD and PowerPoint for communication with external mold vendors.
- Assist in new equipment and tooling validation, write and execute validation documents, and update current mold work instructions.
- Track tooling from removal to installation, assist in removal, setup, and repair as needed.
- Contribute to the management of the preventative maintenance program, supervising execution and reporting.
- Provide technical expertise to Maintenance, Engineering, and Production departments.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Support the installation of new products, tooling, and processes; investigate tooling and process problems; and make recommendations as necessary.
- Follow company policies, training procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications:
- Must come from injection molding background or have strong foundational knowledge
