Job Description
- Overall design and application engineering, from concept design through full manufacturing launch.
- Designs performance improvements for big bore engines
- Develops analytical design validation plans.
- Ensures design meets system performance and design target
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Address compatibility of material property compared to the structural functionality.
- Work with component engineers and suppliers for the design of cast housings, plastic molding, seals, gaskets leading to production subsystem
- Works with the cross-functional teams to meet the project budget, timelines, and scope of design.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in cradle to grave product development, preferably in engine design
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical disciplines
- 25% travel internationally
